Received an online purchase that was damaged but the young lady dealt with it efficiently and in a lovely friendly manner and then I spoke to a young woman at another branch who also was professional and absolutely lovely ! So nice to receive such lovely service from people ( Papanui and Riccarton branches)

I always get excellent service with Kmart online shopping!!!!!!

Pathetic customer service. Called to find out if a product is available in their city centre store and wanted to request if they can put it aside for me to pick up later tonight as I work. The woman who answered the phone has no customer skills and all she could get out of her was a "hello". I said I will provide the SKU code so she can see if the product is instore and the reply was "just tell me the name" in the rudest tone ever. Seems like she does not want to work and has been forced to come to work. If you dont take pride in your work, for goodness sake stay at home, I am sure WINZ will pay u anyway. Pathetic!!

Kmart is straight up my favourite place to shop at. They have almost everything - clothes, shoes, homeware, kitchen appliances, toys, etc. Their pricing is great too, most things are under $20. I generally find that their products also have great quality - if not, returns are free if the product is faulty. All you have to do is take it in-store with proof of purchase! Everything in Kmart is sooooo aesthetic, and I always end up buying more things that I orginially intended to :)

Ordered items online which showed as in stock. One week later half of the items turned up. Phoned customer service who said they were working on sending the other items. Another week later still no communication or items. Phoned customer service again to be told the items out of stock and they forgot to let me know and forgot to refund me. How convenient! Not convinced the refund will come but in any case NEVER ordering online with them again. Not a good experience.

As a predominantly online shopper, kmart nz is a nightmare time waster. 95 percent of items listed online are in fact our of stock, but there is no indication until you reach checkout. Not a 21st century experience. Ive given up in frustration

first of all, I get that’s it was late but should have never been treated like this. we were going into lockdown so I decided to buy me some sheets to take home with me. immediately an Indian lady starts following me around the store while I’m browsing as if I was gonna steal something. I got to the sheets area and found the last sheet, in the last colour yet had no tag, sticker or information on it. so as I should, I started to open the package as respectful as I could just to see what size it was. This rude as lady comes out of her hiding and immediately starts yelling at me, a 17 year old POLYNESIAN young women to say that I can’t do this. first of all. you shouldn’t of been following me. second of all you should approach me in such a rude way as if I commuted a crime. No way as a young women trying to buy sheet should’ve been treated so rudely. She yelled at me and I told her how could I possibly find any information on this product when it’s little cramped up in a small bag. I told her I’d check the counter but how about you do your job and sort out your stock so that I could actually be able to see the product instead of wasting your time following your Polynesian customers around as if they stealing. I left it and moved on to the next sheet because I was fed up. This lady then proceeded to get HER MANAGER, to then talk to me again about not opening the packages. like she really snitched on me to her MANAGER. she was that threatened. I did nothing wrong. I simply was curious about the size of the sheet. Why would I even come to Kmart to steal sheets. And I gonna hide it under my t-shirt???? like so rude I told them I was going to check myself with the people at the counter if I was curious but no she still proceeded to target me because she thought I was stealing SHEETS. I should never be followed, yelled at or even approached by another person in authority because of she couldn’t deal with me herself. Grow up old lady. I hope you see this and realise how rude and disrespectful you have been.
Also this was at st Luke’s Auckland. Absolutely rude. IM a 17 yr old young woman buying sheets being accused of stealing. can’t get over how disrespected I was OVER SHEETS. I wasn’t rude, I was approachable and I was nice but I guess the fact that I was maybe young or brown triggered her into thinking I couldn’t afford these things in Kmart. Idk what it was but I just shouldn’t be followed around like that ever. No matter who I am.

Besides the prices being ridiculous compared to other store prices of exact merch... For Christmas we received and bought gift cards which come to find out you can not use to purchase game console cards or other cards to that effect. Which is just absolutely ridiculous. They will except returns with no receipt. Do exchange with what could be stolen items in the first place. Everywhere excepts credit cards where payments can be disputed. Why on earth can I not pay 20 in cash on a gift card and not be able to purchase and xbox game pass? I don't understand please explain

Great product and great prices. But I don't like the swimwear from this store they wear and tear very easily, I also find that you can usually get better quality clothing from other brands such as Valleygirl, Supre and Cotton On Body for the same price, sometimes even better.

I received my orders on time or even before the deadline. They never delayed any of my order until now. Keep it up.

Find a lot of things here much cheaper. Good prices..

KMart got good discounts on laptops. No complaints from me
